ConnectWise RMM pricing in 2026

ConnectWise does not publish a price for ConnectWise RMM or Automate. This page covers what is public: the ScreenConnect rates, the published commercial terms, what the community reports at renewal, and what to ask for in a quote.

Short answer

ConnectWise RMM and ConnectWise Automate are quote-only. There is no published per-endpoint price, and our pricing index found no figure it could verify, so we do not print one. The only published ConnectWise rates are for ScreenConnect: $33.60 per month for a single-session license, $52.90 for three sessions, and $0.60 per endpoint per month for unattended access.

What is public

ConnectWise pricing at a glance

ConnectWise operates two separate RMM products. Automate is the legacy platform with on-premise roots. ConnectWise RMM is the former Continuum product, rebranded after acquisition. Neither has a public price.

We do not include a worked annual cost example for ConnectWise. The index excludes it from its cost-by-fleet-size tables because total cost of ownership cannot be calculated without direct sales engagement, and we will not invent a number. One detail worth knowing during evaluation: trial agents auto-convert to paid if they are not removed before the trial period ends.

The fine print

ConnectWise contract terms and hidden costs

The index sources the following from ConnectWise's published commercial terms and rates them High confidence. Your own agreement governs, so check each one against it.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew for periods equal to the expiring term or one year, whichever is shorter. Cancellation requires written non-renewal notice at least 60 days before the end of the current term. Missing the window locks you into another term at the renewal price.

Price increases at renewal

Per-unit pricing may increase at renewal, and promotional pricing increases at renewal. Renewal shock is possible even when the number of endpoints and the scope of service are unchanged.

No mid-term downsizing

Quantities cannot be decreased during a contract term. An MSP that loses a client mid-year cannot reduce its licensed endpoint count until the next renewal.

Non-cancellable, non-refundable fees

All fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable once the contract begins. Exiting early means paying for the remainder of the term.

Professional services

Scripts, connectors, and customizations may require paid professional services engagements. The real implementation cost can exceed the software quote.

Training requirements

Administrators may need to complete ConnectWise University coursework to unlock certain support paths.

On renewals specifically, posts on r/msp describe recurring annual price increases of 10 to 12 percent. That is community-reported, not a published ConnectWise figure. The index rates ConnectWise as High for lock-in risk.

What you get

What is included and what costs extra

ConnectWise pricing is per device and per product, typically negotiated annually, and many capabilities are sold as add-ons. The index is clear that the platform itself is powerful. The question for your budget is how many products the full stack takes.

Included in the platform

  • Patch management for operating systems and third-party applications
  • Scripting and automation
  • Alerting, monitoring, and network monitoring
  • Reporting, API access, and a mobile app
  • Multi-tenant management
  • PSA integration with ConnectWise Manage, a separately licensed product

Integration, partner, or separate product

Remote access

Listed in the index as an integration, not part of the RMM itself. ScreenConnect is the companion product, with its own published pricing.

Backup

Listed as integration or partner. ConnectWise acquired Axcient and SkyKick in 2024 to expand its backup and cloud migration portfolio.

Security and antivirus management

Listed as integration or partner, not included in the base platform.

PSA

ConnectWise Manage carries its own licensing cost. It does not appear in the RMM line item, but it does appear in your operating budget.

AI features

Listed as requiring an integration or partner.

Six questions to ask on a ConnectWise quote

With no public price to anchor on, the terms matter as much as the rate. Get these answered in writing.

  1. 1

Which product is this quote for, ConnectWise RMM or Automate, and what is the per-endpoint rate?

  2. 2

What is the term, when does it end, and what is the last date for written non-renewal notice?

  3. 3

Is any part of this price promotional, and what is the renewal price in writing?

  4. 4

Can quantities be reduced mid-term if I lose a client?

  5. 5

Which capabilities are add-ons or separate products, including ScreenConnect and Manage?

  6. 6

Does onboarding require paid professional services, and what is the estimate?

How Breeze pricing compares

This page is published by the team behind Breeze, an open source RMM that competes with ConnectWise. Read it with that in mind. We kept the ConnectWise facts above to what our pricing index could verify from ConnectWise's own published terms, and we left out any price we could not source.

Breeze publishes its pricing. The self-hosted Community edition is free under AGPL-3.0 with no device limit, so there is no licensed quantity to negotiate or to be stuck with mid-term. If you would prefer not to run a server, Breeze Cloud is a hosted plan with a flat published price, not metered per device or per technician. Self-hosting is not free in practice: you pay for the server and the time to maintain it, and you take on the patching and on-call work a vendor would otherwise handle. Current plans and prices are on the Breeze pricing page, and the feature-level comparison is on Breeze vs ConnectWise.

ConnectWise RMM pricing FAQ

Answers drawn from the same verified data as the rest of this page.

How much does ConnectWise RMM cost?

ConnectWise does not publish per-endpoint pricing for ConnectWise RMM or ConnectWise Automate. Both require a sales conversation. Our April 2026 pricing index found no per-endpoint figure it could verify, so we do not publish one. Total cost of ownership cannot be calculated without direct sales engagement.

Does ConnectWise publish any pricing?

Yes, for ScreenConnect, its companion remote access product: $33.60 per month for a single-session license, $52.90 per month for three sessions, and $0.60 per endpoint per month for unattended access. There is no public bundle calculator for combined Manage, Automate, and ScreenConnect pricing.

What is the difference between ConnectWise RMM and ConnectWise Automate?

They are two separate RMM products from the same company. Automate is the legacy platform with on-premise roots. ConnectWise RMM is the former Continuum product, rebranded after acquisition. Both are quote-only.

How do I cancel a ConnectWise contract?

Under ConnectWise's published commercial terms, subscriptions auto-renew, and cancellation requires written non-renewal notice at least 60 days before the end of the current term. All fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable once the contract begins, so exiting early means paying for the remainder of the term.

Does ConnectWise raise prices at renewal?

The published commercial terms allow it: per-unit pricing may increase at renewal, and promotional pricing increases at renewal. Posts on r/msp describe recurring annual price increases of 10 to 12 percent. That range is community-reported, not confirmed by ConnectWise.

Sources and method

Every ConnectWise fact on this page comes from The True Cost of RMM in 2026: Annual Pricing Index, last updated April 2026. For ConnectWise, the index relies on the company's published commercial terms and the public ScreenConnect pricing page. Renewal increase figures are community reports from r/msp and are labeled as such. Terms and prices change, so read your own agreement.
