How to Use the RMM Dashboard, Search and Keyboard Shortcuts
Breeze RMM opens on one dashboard that shows what broke overnight across every client, and most of the morning routine runs from the keyboard: Cmd+O to switch clients, Cmd+K to search, g chords to jump between pages.

What's in the demo
- Fleet view ("All organizations", 6 clients): KPI strip with Total Devices 94, Online 94, Critical 8, Warnings 7, Open tickets 14, Patch compliance 85%. Each tile links to its list
- Needs attention: open alerts newest first, with device and client. Top row: "Disk usage above 90% on C: (93.5%)" on ACME-SRV-02, Acme Manufacturing. Fleet Status reads 94/94 online
- Security posture 84/100, Patch compliance, Vulnerabilities (39 open findings), Recent Activity from the audit log, and Pick up where you left off
- Cmd+O: hovering Acme Manufacturing previews Devices 32, Tickets 7 open, Alerts 1 critical. Clicking the name re-scopes the dashboard to Acme
- Cmd+K before typing: Recent devices, Recently visited and Quick actions, numbered 1 to 8. Option+1 opens ACME-WS-014
- Cmd+K again, type "acme-srv-02", Enter: the ACME-SRV-02 device page
- ? opens the Keyboard shortcuts card. g then a opens Alerts (6 active)
- g then h goes home. The bell shows 2 unread, including a ticket assignment for "VPN disconnects for remote engineers". Mark all read clears them
- The sparkle button opens Breeze AI beside the dashboard, with starters such as "Disk space report" (nothing is sent)
Questions this video answers
- How do I search for a device in Breeze RMM?
- Press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) or / from any page. Before you type, it lists your recent devices and pages with numbers, and Option or Alt plus the number opens one. Typing searches device hostnames, display names and the last signed-in user, plus scripts and alerts. Results come from every client your account can reach, not only the one picked in the switcher, so type the full hostname for an exact hit.
- How do I switch between clients in Breeze RMM?
- Press Cmd+O (Ctrl+O) or click the switcher at the top left. Hover a client to preview its devices, open tickets, alerts and sites, then click the name to switch the whole app, or click one of its pages to switch and go straight there. All organizations is fleet view, where every dashboard number covers every client.
- What keyboard shortcuts does Breeze RMM have?
- Press ? for the shortcut card. g then a letter goes to a page (h Dashboard, d Devices and Assets, a Alerts, t Tickets, s Scripts, p Patches, v Vulnerabilities), and c then a letter creates something (t ticket, q quote, i invoice, s script). Single-key shortcuts pause while you type in a field and can be changed in profile settings.
- What should a new help desk tech check first in Breeze RMM?
- Start on Dashboard in fleet view. The KPI strip gives devices online, critical and warning counts, open tickets and patch compliance. Needs attention lists open alerts newest first with device and client, and Fleet Status names any machine that has gone offline. Pick up where you left off reopens what you were working on.
- Does Breeze RMM have an AI assistant?
- Yes. The sparkle button in the header opens Breeze AI beside whatever page you are on, with starters like "Check server health", "Find offline devices" and "Disk space report". By default, an action such as running a script waits for you to approve it.
A note on the demo: names are fictional demo data, the recents times were back-dated, and the bottom-right keycaps are a video overlay. Two known issues are visible: the search placeholder mentions users and settings, but search returns devices, scripts and alerts; the Patch compliance card reads "80 of 98 devices" next to Total Devices 94 because it still counts decommissioned machines.
