Get paid online — customers can now pay invoices by card through your own Stripe account — plus a fully redesigned billing experience across Product Catalog, Invoices, and Contracts, AI for Office as an operator-controlled entitlement, a clearer remote-viewer update experience, and a round of reliability and security fixes.
Billing & Payments
- Online invoice payments. Your customers can now pay their invoices by card online, settled directly into your own connected Stripe account. Breeze never touches the funds and takes no fee — your client's statement shows your business, and you stay the merchant of record. Connecting Stripe is a one-time authorization from your billing settings.
- Send a payment link. From any issued invoice you can copy a secure checkout link to send your customer, and payments collected online are marked as such automatically so your records stay accurate without manual entry. Refunds you issue in Stripe flow back into Breeze on their own.
- Redesigned Product Catalog. The catalog is now a polished, searchable workspace — filter by type, sort by price or margin, expand bundles in place to see their components and rolled-up economics, and edit items in a side drawer with a live margin preview.
- Redesigned Invoices. A cleaner list with search, filters, sortable columns, and an outstanding-balance summary; a faster draft editor that builds invoices straight from your catalog with a shared search-as-you-type picker; and an issued-invoice view that puts the balance due front and center, with one-click PDF download.
- Redesigned Recurring Contracts with live estimates. Contracts now show their real recurring value as you build them — resolving per-device and per-seat counts live instead of guessing — with an estimated monthly recurring strip on the list, a per-period estimate on each contract, and a new Terms field.
AI & Automation
- AI for Office is now a per-partner entitlement. Breeze AI inside Excel and Word is switched on per partner by the platform operator and is off by default, so you're never billed for AI usage by partners you haven't explicitly enabled. Turning a partner off cuts their live sessions immediately, not just new ones.
Remote Access
- Clearer viewer updates. When the Breeze Viewer auto-updates, it now shows a small progress banner through download and install instead of the window silently disappearing — so a normal update no longer looks like a crash.
Reliability & Fixes
- Large software package uploads now stream to disk instead of being held in memory, so big installers upload reliably without exhausting server memory.
- Deleting a catalog item that's still deployed now returns a clear, friendly conflict message instead of a server error.
- Removing a user now cleanly deactivates their access, and re-inviting that same person restores their account correctly.
- Breeze Assist now restarts when its configuration changes, so policy edits take effect right away.
- Patch auto-approval now correctly requires deployment-ring and organization context, keeping ring-based rollouts consistent.
- Linux agent installs now restore the correct SELinux security context on the installed binary, and the organization scope selector behaves correctly across pages.
Version 0.81.0 completes the billing story that landed in 0.80.0 — and the headline is that you can now get paid online.
Your customers can pay their invoices by card through a secure checkout, with the money settling directly into your own Stripe account. Breeze stays out of the middle entirely: no platform fee, no funds passing through us, and your business remains the merchant of record on your client’s statement. Connecting Stripe is a one-time authorization, and from then on every issued invoice can carry a shareable payment link. Payments collected online are recorded and labeled automatically, and refunds you process in Stripe sync back into Breeze on their own.
This release also brings a full visual redesign of the billing tools — Product Catalog, Invoices, and Recurring Contracts — into a consistent, production-grade experience. The catalog gains searchable, sortable tables with in-place bundle economics; invoices get a cleaner list, a faster catalog-driven draft editor, and a balance-focused detail view with PDF export; and contracts now show their true recurring value with live device and seat counts as you build them.
Rounding out the release: AI for Office is now an operator-controlled, per-partner entitlement that’s off by default, so AI costs are only incurred for partners you’ve explicitly enabled. The Breeze Viewer now shows a progress banner during auto-updates instead of appearing to crash. And a batch of reliability and security fixes — streamed package uploads, cleaner user-deletion handling, friendlier error messages, and tighter patch-approval scoping — make the platform steadier under everyday use.
