Full billing for MSPs — a product catalog, an invoice engine with a customer payment portal, and recurring contracts; email-to-ticket that turns the help desk into a complete PSA; a governed AI assistant inside Excel and Word; risk-tiered step-up approvals; and a wide round of monitoring, patching, security, and agent-reliability improvements.

Billing & Invoicing

  • Product catalog. Build a reusable catalog of the products and services you sell, with per-customer pricing and bundles, so quoting and billing pull from one consistent price list instead of being retyped each time.
  • Invoice engine. Create invoices with line items, record payments, and generate a clean PDF for each one — all inside Breeze, billed from the time, parts, and catalog items you already track.
  • Customer payment portal. Customers can view and pay their invoices from a dedicated portal, so you spend less time chasing paperwork and more time getting paid.
  • Recurring contracts. Set up managed-services agreements that automatically generate invoices on a schedule — monthly, quarterly, or annually — so recurring revenue bills itself without manual work each cycle.

Native Ticketing & Email

  • Email-to-ticket. Customer emails now turn into tickets automatically, and technician replies thread back to the customer over email, with an optional autoresponder confirming receipt. Your help desk now works entirely over email, like a full PSA.
  • Inbound review queue. New email-sourced tickets can land in a review queue first, so you control what becomes a ticket and what gets filtered, with per-partner settings for how ingestion behaves.
  • Partner ticketing configuration moved onto the Partner settings hub, alongside a faster ticket queue that no longer reloads the whole list after every action.
  • Confirmation prompt before deleting a billable part from a ticket, and a theme-aware assignee picker that stays readable on the dark theme.

AI & Automation

  • Breeze AI for Office. A governed AI assistant now lives directly inside Excel and Word for your customers' end users. It signs in with their existing Microsoft identity, maps to the right organization automatically, and runs every action through the same policy and data-protection controls as the rest of Breeze.
  • Deployment-neutral add-in packaging, so the Office add-in can be pointed at any environment without rebuilding it.
  • More accurate AI cost tracking. Fixed a bug that could report $0.00 for AI usage; costs now fall back to token-based accounting so every interaction is measured.

Security & Compliance

  • Risk-tiered step-up approvals. Sensitive approvals can now require a device-bound biometric confirmation (Touch ID, Windows Hello, or a mobile secure-enclave key) plus a PIN, with the required strength scaled to the risk of the action. It ships switched off by default so you can adopt it on your own schedule.
  • Privileged access on Windows app launches. The agent can now detect a privileged action as it happens, prompt an approver, and carry out the decision, extending just-in-time elevation to real-time Windows workflows.
  • Tighter integration and remote-access security. Closed a permission-tier bypass and revocation gaps in the AI/automation API surface, and live remote-desktop sessions now end immediately when access is revoked rather than running until they time out.
  • External audit anchor. The tamper-evident audit trail can now be anchored to an external append-only store, strengthening the guarantee that historical records can't be altered after the fact.
  • Normalized tenant scoping across the platform — a page-aware organization selector, correct handling of partner-wide records, and added safety on fleet-wide actions — plus a fix so background and pre-login operations write to the database under the correct security context.

Visibility & Monitoring

  • Network devices in the unified Devices list. Discovered network hardware (switches, printers, and other non-agent devices) now appears alongside your managed endpoints in one list, so you see the whole environment in a single place.
  • Honest network topology. The discovery map now groups devices by subnet and only draws connections it can actually verify, instead of inventing links — a clearer, more trustworthy picture of how the network is laid out.
  • Process-level resource drill-down. Click into a device's CPU or memory usage to see which individual processes are driving it, so you can pinpoint a runaway program instead of guessing.
  • Sortable device columns and dedicated Monitoring and Backup sections in the left navigation, plus normalized operating-system labels so device lists read consistently.

Patch Management

  • Ring-owned auto-approval. Patch auto-approval is now governed by deployment rings, so you can let early rings approve and install automatically while later rings wait — staged rollouts without hand-approving every patch.
  • Selectable page size and clickable column sorting on the patch list, and removal of dead Event Log toggles from configuration policy with clearer wording that the tab tunes behavior rather than gating it.

Devices & Interface

  • Profile theming and font selection. Each user can personalize their dashboard with a theme and font choice from their profile.
  • Device overview polish with an activity feed, an org switcher that pre-expands to the site you're working in, in-flight feedback when acknowledging an alert, and a delete control on the Software Library catalog.
  • The in-app Help documentation now loads correctly on self-hosted and custom-domain deployments.

Onboarding & Platform

  • Self-hosted guided setup. New self-hosted installs get a guided first-run experience that walks through initial configuration instead of leaving you to wire everything up by hand.
  • Installer hardening. The install script now requires an explicit enrollment token, and the public install and uninstall scripts were cleaned up. The new-partner registration toggle is now honored at runtime, so you can open or close signups without a rebuild.
  • Partner-level default time zone with a shared resolver, so dates and schedules display in the time zone that makes sense for each partner, and clearer status detail when a sign-in is denied because a tenant is inactive.

Agent Reliability

  • Self-healing services. The agent now surfaces a failed system service that it auto-recovered, so you can see when a managed machine healed itself.
  • More reliable Linux startup, correct handling of software-update version pins on macOS and Linux, separated Windows OS version and build reporting, and consistent enforcement of your organization's agent-update policy during heartbeat.

Version 0.80.0 is a major release that pushes Breeze well past monitoring and support into running the business side of an MSP.

The headline is billing. Three pieces land together: a product catalog for the services and products you sell with per-customer pricing and bundles; an invoice engine that turns tracked time, parts, and catalog items into invoices with PDFs and recorded payments, fronted by a customer payment portal; and recurring contracts that auto-generate invoices on a monthly, quarterly, or annual cadence. Together they let you quote, invoice, and collect recurring revenue without leaving Breeze or maintaining a separate billing tool.
