v0.62.18 beta
Release v0.62.18
Apr 12, 2026
Better viewer quit on macOS, file browser unverified-state UI, and MSI rollback fix.
Added
- File browser now surfaces an amber 'Unverified' state for restore and bulk operations that timed out without a confirmed result, so you can investigate instead of assuming success or failure.
Improved
- Lifted an unnecessary throughput cap on remote desktop video so quality scales properly on fast networks.
- Restored the bitrate ceiling for remote desktop streaming to keep usage predictable.
Fixed
- Fixed Breeze Viewer staying running on macOS after the last session window was closed.
- Fixed a transient secure-desktop fallback that could happen briefly during UAC prompts.
- Fixed Windows MSI installer rolling back when a noisy stderr line from the enrollment script killed PowerShell.
The big user-facing item here is a new “Unverified” state in the file browser. When a bulk operation or restore times out partway through, instead of silently saying “done” or “failed,” the UI now flags the affected items in amber so a tech can re-check or retry.
Plus a clean exit fix for Breeze Viewer on macOS and another round of MSI installer hardening.
