Watch automations run device-by-device in real time, see battery and power status for laptops and other portable devices, and pick up a broad wave of reliability and security fixes — including a Windows installer fix that lets one download enroll every machine up to its limit.
Added
- Live automation progress, device by device. When an automation runs across a fleet, you now see each targeted device move from pending to running to succeeded or failed in real time — with per-device timing and captured output — instead of only a final pass/fail tally at the end.
- Battery and power status for portable devices. Laptops and other battery-powered machines now report their charge level, charging state, whether they're plugged in, and estimated time remaining, straight from the agent.
- Detect software by file version. A new software-detection rule can match installed applications by the version of a file on disk using a 'this version or newer' comparison, for more precise inventory and compliance checks.

- A more consistent billing experience. Quotes, invoices, and contracts now share the same list styling and status treatments, so the billing surfaces feel like one product.
Fixed
- Use a passkey when your authenticator app is the primary sign-in method. A passkey is now accepted as an alternate multi-factor method instead of being rejected, so you're not locked out when you'd rather tap a security key.
- Truthful uptime in reliability scores. Device reliability now correctly credits the time a machine spends booting as uptime and no longer double-counts a device's own recovery, so scores better reflect reality. Some scores may shift as new data accrues.
- Patch approval respects your ring filters. The include/exclude category filters on an update ring are now enforced when patches are approved, not just when they're scanned — so excluded categories stay excluded.
- Windows installers enroll every machine, up to their limit. A Windows MSI built with a device-enrollment limit now enrolls up to that many machines from a single download. Previously only the first machine enrolled and the rest silently failed to appear in the portal.
- Remote terminal stays disconnected when you disconnect. Clicking Disconnect in the remote terminal no longer immediately reconnects on its own.
- Idle logout honors your session timeout. Idle sign-out now respects the effective session-timeout configured for your partner account.
- Scheduled Tasks tool matches your theme. The remote Scheduled Tasks tool now renders correctly in both light and dark mode.
- Clearer config-policy ownership. Configuration policies show an organization-ownership badge, and organization-only feature tabs are correctly gated when a partner-wide policy applies.
- Device action bar shows the right actions during status changes. Device actions now render correctly while a device is transitioning between online and offline states.
Version 0.90.0 is a visibility and reliability release. Two new capabilities make day-to-day work clearer, and a broad set of fixes tighten up security, patching, remote access, and how devices report their own health.
The two headline additions are about seeing what’s actually happening. Automations now show live, per-device progress — when you push a script or task across a fleet, you can watch each machine move through pending, running, and its final result in real time, with the timing and output for every device, instead of waiting for a single summary at the end. And portable devices now report battery and power status, so laptops in the field surface their charge level, whether they’re plugged in, and estimated runtime alongside the rest of their telemetry.
The rest of the release is a wave of fixes worth upgrading for: Windows installers now enroll every machine up to the limit you set (previously only the first machine in a batch appeared in the portal), reliability scores tell the truth about uptime, passkeys work as an alternate second factor, and patching, remote terminal, idle logout, and theming all got sharper. It’s a recommended upgrade for every self-hosted deployment — three quick idempotent database updates, no new configuration required, and no breaking changes.
