Release v0.85.0
Jun 27, 2026
Push Huntress and SentinelOne to devices in one click, deploy software as an automation step, see and override the built-in configuration defaults, edit quote lines with partner markup defaults and catalog images, and trust your reliability scores again after a ground-up scoring overhaul.
Security & EDR
- One-click EDR deployment. Breeze now ships built-in deployment packages for Huntress and SentinelOne, so you can push the EDR agent to a device straight from the console instead of hand-building an installer and chasing it down per machine. The account key is stored encrypted, never in the clear.
AI & Automation
- Deploy software from an automation. A new Software Deployment action lets an automation install software as one of its steps — so onboarding, remediation, and standardization workflows can put the right apps on a device without a separate manual push.
- Self-healing agents. A new AI tool can restart a wedged agent through its watchdog, recovering a stuck endpoint without a truck roll or a manual reinstall.
Configuration & Policy
- See and override the built-in defaults. Configuration policies now show a virtual 'Breeze Defaults' baseline that every policy inherits from, so the shipped defaults are visible and explicitly overridable instead of invisible assumptions.
Billing, Quoting & Catalog
- Faster quoting with partner markup defaults. Set a default markup once and have it applied as you build quotes, edit quote lines inline, and attach images to catalog items so quotes and the catalog are clearer to read.
- Correct tax math. Tax rates are now stored with enough precision that fractional rates round-trip exactly, so totals match to the cent.
Monitoring & Alerting
- Reliability scores you can trust. Device reliability scoring has been rebuilt so scores actually distinguish a healthy machine from a troubled one. Previously, unrelated Windows events were miscategorized — routine component timeouts were counted as crashes and large swaths of the system log were blanket-labeled hardware failures — and the formula flattened out so that a device with a dozen faults scored the same as one with over a thousand. The agent now classifies events correctly and counts each one once, and the score spreads out across its full range. After you roll the new agent to your fleet, expect reliability scores to shift to reflect what's really happening on each device.
- Smarter metric alerts. Metric alerts now evaluate the average across their window instead of firing only when every single sample breaches, so a brief spike doesn't trip an alert and a sustained problem isn't missed.
- Offline rules respect their duration. Configuration-policy offline alert rules now honor the duration you set, capped sensibly at the re-evaluation interval, so 'offline for N minutes' means what it says.
Platform & Fixes
- Structured maintenance windows. The agent-update maintenance window is now a structured, validated field instead of free-form text, so a typo can't quietly produce a window that never applies.
- Shareable Patches tabs. The Patches page keeps its selected tab in the URL, so the browser back button works and you can link someone straight to the right view.
- Quieter onboarding. The 'add your first site' prompt no longer nags organizations that already have a site, and the sign-up entry point respects whether self-registration is enabled.
- Installer fix. The MSI filename-bootstrap enrollment token now uses a format that survives the Windows Installer's own parsing, so token-in-filename enrollment is reliable.
Version 0.85.0 is a feature release that makes Breeze easier to deploy onto, automate across, and — finally — trust the numbers from.
On security and automation, you can now push Huntress or SentinelOne to a device in one click using built-in deployment packages, deploy software as a step inside an automation, and let an AI tool restart a wedged agent through its watchdog so a stuck endpoint heals itself. Configuration policies gain a visible ‘Breeze Defaults’ baseline, so the shipped defaults are something you can see and override rather than guess at. Quoting gets faster with partner markup defaults, inline quote-line editing, and catalog item images, plus a tax-precision fix so totals are correct to the cent.
The headline for day-to-day operations is a ground-up overhaul of reliability scoring. Scores had stopped being useful — unrelated Windows events were miscounted and the formula saturated, so wildly different machines landed on the same number. The agent now classifies events correctly and counts each one once, and the score uses its full range again, so a healthy device and a troubled one no longer look alike. Once you promote the new agent to your fleet, reliability scores will shift to reflect reality — that’s expected, and it’s the point. Metric alerts also get more sensible by averaging across their window, and offline rules now honor their configured duration. It’s a recommended upgrade.
